The introduction of a Health Laboratory Sciences Diploma program at KICOHS College aims to increase the pool of qualified Laboratory Technologists that are needed to fill a variety of positions at various levels of the public health care and research system.
The graduates are anticipated to be qualified to launch and manage private laboratory services to support the government's initiatives to offer high-quality laboratory services throughout the nation. A side benefit of the curriculum is that graduates will be qualified to apply for BSc in Health Laboratory Science Programs.
Holders of a Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) with four (4) passes in non-religious subjects, including D passes in Chemistry, Biology, Physics/Engineering Sciences, Mathematics, and English, and who also possess a Technician Certificate (NTA Level 5) in Medical Laboratory Sciences recognized by NACTVET
